Operational Management:

  • Implement and monitor quality control systems to ensure conformance to purchase orders and fabrication drawings.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance for buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations.
  • Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage monthly financial reports, including completed job costs, work-in-progress (WIP), and inventory.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage manufacturing budgets and financial initiatives.
  • Provide data-based justifications for capital purchases, and manage the purchase and implementation process.
  • Inventory and Resource Management:
  • Manage inventory levels, purchasing, and supplier performance.
  • Oversee purchase orders, invoicing, and payroll functions as required by the Accounting department.

Team Development and Human Resources:

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard employees in alignment with organizational needs.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and implement employee training programs.
  • Manage employee benefit communications and ensure compliance with the employee handbook.
  • Address personnel issues in collaboration with the Jacksonville HR team, when necessary.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

  • Efficiency and Productivity:
  • Implement data-driven systems to track and optimize productivity and process standards.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate production throughput, quality, and profitability.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and make adjustments to equipment, personnel, and workflow to improve throughput and reduce costs.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and implement best practices in production management and lean manufacturing.
  • Ensure that production goals are met within set timeframes and budgets.

Qualifications:
