Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading Cell Therapy CDMO in their search for a Senior Manager of EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) to join their growing team.

Senior Manager EHS - Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs to ensure a safe, compliant workplace
• Oversee compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and industry standards
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and investigations to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks
• Provide guidance and training to employees on EHS protocols, fostering an engaged, safety-focused culture
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure EHS alignment with overall business goals
• Manage incident reporting and root cause analysis for safety incidents and near misses
• Drive sustainability initiatives and ensure waste management aligns with environmental best practices

Senior Manager EHS - Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in EHS roles within the biopharma, CDMO, or related industries
• Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a regulated, GMP-compliant setting
• In-depth knowledge of federal and local EHS regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to EHS improvements
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a collaborative mindset
