Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Site Leader to oversee and manage all EHS programs and initiatives at our largest manufacturing site. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement in our EHS practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide EHS training and education to employees, ensuring adherence to company safety policies and practices.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of EHS activities, including compliance reports, training records, and incident logs.
  • Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with sustainability goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Certification in EHS-related fields (e.g. ASP, CSP, CHMM) is a plus.
