This candidate will be leading analytical method development to support Drug Product characterization, supporting management of junior-level scientists. Job Overview:

• Independently develop analytical methods, perform data review, author protocols, and coordinate/oversee tech transfer with internal teams such as QC and CDMO partners
• Lead and directly manage a team of junior-level scientists across PD, formulation selection, stability of DP
• Continuously evaluate biophysical and biochemical characterization tools to support vaccine DP development

Requirements:

• PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biophysics or a relevant discipline and over 2 years of industry experience is preferred. A MSc and over 4+ years of relevant industry experience, or a BSc and 7+ years of experience may also be considered
• Expertise is leading analytical development for biologic drug product such as antibodies and conjugates, with a preference for experience in characterizing adjuvanted vaccines
• Proven experience using immunoassays such as multiplex immunoaffinity based assays such as ELISA, MSD, and Luminex is required with significant experience in authoring method protocols, SOPs, assay transfer protocols
• Experience in managing direct reports in lab is preferred, but not required
