Job Description:
- Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel within the scope of LPN practice.
- Address residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADL) needs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care in accordance with each resident's plan of care.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, promptly responding to call lights and alarms, ensuring cleanliness, and preventing falls or unsafe behavior.
- Meet residents' nutritional needs including meal delivery, tray preparation, and feeding, honoring residents' preferences and choices.
- Assist residents with rehabilitative needs, employing range of motion exercises, ambulation support, and proper body alignment techniques.
- Honor resident rights and promptly report changes in their physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to supervising nurses.
- Prepare for potential occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens, performing tasks that may involve contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues following safe practices.
- Complete all required documentation per established protocol.
