Position Overview:
Seeking a Director of Environmental Health and Safety to lead and manage safety initiatives across all operations. This leadership role is critical to ensuring a culture of safety, compliance, and the protection of our workforce within our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations specific to manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS training programs tailored to manufacturing needs.
- Conduct hazard analyses and establish safety protocols to protect employees.
- Audit safety programs to ensure compliance with company standards and manufacturing regulations.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.
- Oversee multiple locations to ensure adherence to EHS standards and best practices across all manufacturing sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Professional certification in EHS is highly desirable.
- Experience in the Heavy Manufacturing space is ideal
