A healthcare organization in California is currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join their growing team!
About the Opportunity:
- Location: Several locations in the Northern California area - will place at you best site based on your location and fit (McKinleyville, CA or Eureka, CA)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday - can work 8 hour or 10-hour shifts
- Hours: Standard business (can work 8 hour or 10-hour shifts)
- Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Responsibilities: The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) will:
- Take histories, perform physical examinations, and prescribe treatment and medication for conditions
- Design and participate in quality improvement activities, including Medical Record Peer Review, performance and procedure audits, outcome audits, and focused reviews
- Coordinate tests, referrals, and care of patients outside the center
- Maintain legible and appropriate documentation of medical records
- Participate and attend provider meetings
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: - Diploma from an accredited program with credentialing through the American Nurses Association
- Current California medical license
- Current Board Certification
- Current DEA license
- Current CPR
- Open to VISA candidates
