Responsibilities To put it bluntly, we are looking for someone who is: Attentive & Communicative: You know that a good attorney-client relationship starts with listening and keeping clients informed. Astute & Analytical: You see nuances where others see black and white. Emotionally Mature: You can handle the heat of heated discussions with grace without losing your cool or professionalism. Persuasive Writer & Speaker: Your writing and speaking skills could convince a cat to take a bath. Lighthearted Yet Driven: You know how not to take yourself too seriously without losing sight of the ultimate mission. Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders. Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action. Represent clients in court proceedings as needed. Qualifications Must be licensed to practice in New Jersey. Experience matters more than years - bring us your best stories and successes A desire to continually learn and improve. Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations.
