Bilingual HR Generalist (Must be fluent in Spanish!)


Primary Responsibilities:


  • This outline of responsibilities is not exhaustive and may include other related tasks as directed by management.
  • Utilize the designated payroll system to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of employee timecard data, including tracking attendance records.
  • Address timekeeping and payroll discrepancies promptly, collaborating closely with both employees and the payroll team.
  • Support employees with inquiries regarding benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans (e.g., 401k).
  • Assist with employee leave processes, including vacation, sick leave, and family leave, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company guidelines.
  • Coordinate performance evaluations and employee development programs, incorporating goal setting and annual reviews.
  • Provide support during disciplinary actions or investigations, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
  • Offer general HR guidance regarding policies, benefits, and other employment-related concerns.
  • Act as the initial contact for employee-related queries, covering payroll, benefits, and general HR issues.
  • Collaborate with department managers to facilitate employee training and development initiatives.
  • Champion efforts to cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive employee information in compliance with privacy standards and best practices.

  • Education and Experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Language Proficiency
  • Strong fluency in English and Spanish is essential, including the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Analytical Skills
  • Must possess the ability to evaluate practical problems and resolve them in situations with minimal standardization. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills are critical for success in this role.
