Job Overview:


As the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that support our automotive product lines. Your expertise will drive cost efficiencies, mitigate supply chain risks, and ensure that we are partnered with suppliers who meet our high-quality standards. You will play a key role in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to identify sourcing opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance overall supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic sourcing initiatives for key automotive components and materials, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery optimization.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals, ensuring the supply chain remains flexible and responsive to market conditions.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiations, and performance management, establishing long-term partnerships with high-performing suppliers.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to assess new material and component requirements, ensuring alignment with design specifications and production timelines.
  • Analyze market trends and supply chain risks, recommending proactive measures to mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in supplier selection processes and manage all aspects of supplier onboarding.
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives, working with suppliers to optimize pricing, lead times, and logistics.
  • Manage the supplier relationship lifecycle, from initial sourcing to contract negotiations and ongoing performance reviews.
  • Maintain a strong focus on sustainability and ethical sourcing practices in line with the company's corporate responsibility objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key sourcing metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in sourcing processes and supplier performance.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within the automotive industry, with a focus on components, materials, and supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost-reduction strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry's supply chain, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with global sourcing practices and an understanding of international supply chain dynamics.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in sourcing and procurement software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
