Company Description The Senior Regional Quality Manager is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and resource stewardship for our Aperture Solutions quality organization; specifically, this role will lead quality assurance at 5-7 facilities within the North Region. She/he will lead the execution of cross-functional strategies and plans that ensure we execute the company's production system quality control roadmap. This position directly reports to the Director of Quality for Aperture Solutions business unit. RESPONSIBILITIES Foster a culture, including ways of working and behaviors, that is congruent with our mission, values, mindsets, and success model. Identify and implement ways of working that make quality first a shared mindset and a way of life at CBB. Focus will be on the process, not the individual. Ability to lead by influence, build strong business relationships, and work collaboratively across multiple functions and regions. End to end quality responsibility: design, manufacturing, and customer satisfaction. Monitor the Aperture Solutions business unit customer satisfaction and internal metrics (Cost of Poor Quality), drive initiatives and projects to improve quality as a competitive advantage. Support the development and drive the execution of the Cornerstone Production System Quality Control Pillar. Lead the effort to leverage best practices and standardize processes and procedures across the factories to meet company objectives and customer expectations. Responsible for the review, update, and approval of applicable documents such as Process Maps, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), Control Plan, reliable testing, usability testing, etc. Development and execution of the Critical to Quality (CTQ) station and key initiatives as part of the Strategic Annual Plan. Explore, identify, and pursue new technologies that improve effectiveness of our quality control systems including error and mistake proof solutions, digital, real-time quality assurance systems. Evaluate new and existing regulations to ensure the quality assurance protocols fulfill requirements. Lead and/or facilitate team problem solving events for customer and internal quality issues to find true root cause and develop permanent Corrective Actions. Invest significant effort on talent offense and aligning training and development of teams to mindsets and skillsets critical to the future of our business. Teach, coach, direct, and inform other quality professionals to promote performance and encourage professional development. Understand that speed matters and is prompt with action and information, willing to make decisions based on calculated risks, and moves issues to closure by driving teams forward. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred and MBA a plus. Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of manufacturing experience in a complex, manufacturing environment and at least 5 years leading product quality. Proven ability to drive Quality, performance, and cultural transformations. Enthusiastic about the value quality brings to the manufacturing process and passionate about keeping technical skills up to date, understanding best practices, and deploying quality systems to achieve goals and targets. Progressive experience in quality technical field and leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing. Displays a strong ability to use data to rationally analyze and solve issues, with a solid understanding of statistical concepts and methods for appropriate application and analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff. Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies. 3rd party Quality certification (ISO 9001/TS 16949) experience preferred. Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Requires regular travel (75%).
