A midsized law firm with multiple offices across California seeks a dedicated and skilled attorney to join its San Diego office. This position focuses on business litigation and general liability defense matters, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload in a collaborative and supportive environment. The role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage and litigate business disputes and general liability defense cases from inception to resolution.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research, draft persuasive legal documents, and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Participate in client development and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of experience in business litigation and/or general liability defense.
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet the firm's billable hour goal of 1,850 hours annually .
• Commitment to teamwork, client service, and professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $135,000 to $195,000, commensurate with experience.
