With 100+ years of combined experience, we bring the expertise and knowledge of larger firms to our local community, all while preserving the personalized approach of a smaller boutique firm. We are looking for a Litigator who wants to work in an independent, collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage litigation cases from inception through resolution. If you have not managed your own cases, you will learn these skills.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies and case management plans.
- Represent clients in court, including depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations and appeals.
- Draft and review critical legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in the mediation process.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas bar.
- Minimum of 2 years, maximum of 10 years of experience in litigation or a strong desire and aptitude to learn litigation.
- You must have strong persuasive writing skills.
- Strong motivation and a desire to be a great attorney.
- Strong advocacy and negotiation capabilities.
- Competency with MS Word and Acrobat.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation technology.
Compensation:
Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits package, commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
