Director of Customer Service (VP) sought - HVAC Contractor | NYC Metro


Our client is one of the oldest and most well-respected thru-the-wall heating and cooling companies in the greater NYC marketplace, focusing exclusively on private residences.Right now, we’re looking for an ambitious, high caliber Human Resources Director with excellent personnel management and recruiting experience to help continue their explosive growth. They have an impressive legacy in the PTAC business but are focused on expanding their market share with MiniSplit sales and installations.


We seek to hire a Director of Customer Service (VP level) with a positive teamwork attitude to join a team that has acquired this long-established NYC Metro HVAC Company that has tripled growth in the first 5 years under new management. Their high-performing employees have enjoyed increased compensation between 50 - 150% in just 4 years. Our client is investing in the latest technology and training including mini-split and ductless HVAC systems. Led by an exceptional leadership team, they are backed by highly experienced investors with a long-term outlook for sustainable growth.


Key Responsibilities and Goals for Successful Candidates

  • Proven ability to manage 'call center' service reps across various locations.
  • Experience developing and successfully implementing best practices using software, job booking, payment processing, etc.
  • Proven ability to eventually meet the goal of centralizing all call answering to HQ location.
