Job Description

Trustpoint.one is pleased to partner with an Am Law 100 firm in its search for a Senior Staff Attorney (technical focus). This is direct hire, full-time, hybrid role, out of any of the following locations: Washington DC; New York, NY; or Los Angeles, CA.


The Sr. Staff Attorney will support large litigation and regulatory matters in the discovery phase and will primarily work with eDiscovery, AI, and Information Governance practice groups.


Qualifications of the Sr. Staff Attorney (technical) include but are not limited to:

  • 5+ years of relevant eDiscovery experience in Am Law 100 or 200 firm environments, or major eDiscovery consulting background;
  • Experience working at all phases of the EDRM;
  • Active bar license, in good standing, in any of the following jurisdictions: DC, NY, or CA.
  • Ability to work under pressure and a willingness to work additional hours and help others with deadline intensive projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of e-discovery document review projects and typical workflows.
  • Extensive experience with document review platforms such as Relativity, Nuix Discover, or other similar.
  • Experience working directly with client technical and product SMEs; understanding of data warehousing infrastructures (Apache Hive, Apache Spark, Snowflake, Amazon Athena, or Google BigQuery).
  • Entry-level programming and data manipulation skills using SQL is required. Experience with Python is desired.


Primary duties of the Senior Staff Attorney will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating with the Firm’s practice teams to ensure eDiscovery processes are implemented and goals are met;
  • Facilitating communication between the Staff Attorney department and attorneys;
  • Working directly with clients and case teams to identify and manage structured data within various data warehousing infrastructures;
  • Working with the Firm’s litigation support group and eDiscovery vendors to support document preservation, collection, and processing efforts; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.


This is a direct hire role and opportunity to work with a highly reputable Am Law 100 firm. Duration may be one year, potentially longer, depending on client needs. The Firm offers a great culture, competitive salary and benefits.


Salary is $150K-$175K, commensurate with experience.
