Quality Manager
This role manages food safety, quality, and the laboratory function in the plant. The Quality Manager is the plant’s advocate for quality and trains and develops the team to ensure a quality culture at all levels. The QA Manager is also responsible for leadership of the Laboratory and Sanitation functions within the plant. The position investigates consumer complaints, leads SQF Audits and manages the HACCP plan.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
-BS/BA degree in food science, quality, or other related field
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality supervision in a food or beverage manufacturing plant
-SQF Practitioner, PCQI certified, HACCP trained
-Strong leadership abilities with a servant leadership style
-Ability to work as a partner and collaborate across all departments
