The primary responsibility of this position is the receipt, movement, storage and issuance of our manufacturing and site support materials along with the documentation of these activities. Completes cycle count program and is responsible for inventory accuracy. Reconciles precious metal transactions each week. Actively participates in weekly shipment meetings with engineering and operations to ensure weekly shipments are on schedule. Applies lean principles in the organization of inventory. Ensures warehouse is in optimal condition, organized, clean and easily accessible. Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment and creates repair work orders as needed. Uses an awareness of how warehouse activities affect other functions such as production, facilities, EHS, and purchasing to make decisions. Participates and/or assists with cross training activities, training of new hires and temporary staff. Follows set training program for position and ensures training requirements are up to date using training tracking system. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by your manager or the company.
