We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and an understanding of brand standards and be able to work on-site in Edmonton, AB. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including email signature requests, business cards, print materials, and photo editing. This is a short-term contract opportunity and a way for the successful applicant to get their foot in the door with a growing organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the team by completing incoming email signature request forms and business card orders promptly and accurately.
• Prepare and pre-flight documents for printing, ensuring that all prepress procedures and specifications are followed to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Design and produce a variety of communication materials, such as brochures, presentations, and marketing collateral, aligned with brand standards.
• Process, edit, and enhance photos using industry best practices to maintain a professional and polished aesthetic.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
• Experience with print production and prepress processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with photography or photo retouching.
• Familiarity with corporate brand standards and guidelines.
• Knowledge of web design or digital media tools is a plus.
