We require a PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS for our Brantford, Ontario location.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor. This includes ensuring that production schedules are met, product quality standards are upheld, and safety protocols are strictly followed. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
Successful candidates require experience managing a team in a complex 24/7 facility, and have a track record of effective team building, KPI management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :
· Drive positive change in all aspects of plant operations using continuous improvement tools and methodologies, teamwork and shop floor metrics, to drive quality, cost, delivery and housekeeping.
· Assess and ensure that quality measures are met.
· Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.
· Utilizes systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change.
· Daily labour relations and oversight, Work within CBA to resolve issues.
· Support company policies consistent with organization objectives and apply such policies to the plant’s manufacturing operations.
· Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations and workplace policies.
· Understands prioritization and escalation procedures.
· Coordinate with other departments (Quality Control, Maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth production flow.
· Conduct performance reviews, provide training, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
· Lead and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives.
IDEAL :
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
· Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and safety regulations.
