Global Markets Technology PMO Manager/ Project Manager - IT – Expert
Location: Montreal, QC - Hybrid (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 10 Months with possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Director, Business Mgmt Global Markets Technology the PMO Manager will work with various project management teams within two functional areas of QTS (Quantitative and Technology Services)
- Independently and effectively liaison with various project teams and central PMO office to ensure teams are following enterprise standards for Project Management
- Work with various delivery teams and senior leadership to create business facing materials to communicate outcomes and business benefits on a regular basis.
- Becoming a key member of a Business Mgmt team supporting
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Ensure all projects are performing adequate reporting in relation to project management.
- Work with delivery teams and project managers to help structure JIRA boards.
- Assist with Town Hall material preparation.
- Drive creation of monthly newsletter
- Help prepare materials for business presentations (Quarterly success decks, year end materials)
Must have skills:
- Proficiency in JIRA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint
- Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
- Previous work experience in independently creating senior business facing materials
- Working Knowledge of SharePoint & Tableau
- A strong understanding of technology and/or capital markets.
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Previous work experience within a technology organization at a financial institution
- Previous experience in delivering a project greater than $5M
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Python and SQL.
