We are seeking an experienced Production Equipment Engineer/Technician to maintain and optimize equipment in a pharmaceutical production setting. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise with high-shear granulators, fluid beds, encapsulators, tablet presses, and related machinery.

Responsibilities include performing scheduled and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Knowledge of HMI, PLC systems, and a solid understanding of FDA, cGMP, and OSHA compliance are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and calibration of production equipment, including tablet presses, blenders, encapsulators, and packaging lines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently to maximize equipment uptime.
• Implement preventative maintenance strategies to ensure continuous operation in alignment with cGMP standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Mechanical, Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair within a CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with high-shear granulators, fluid beds, encapsulators, tablet presses, and other production machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical issues, including experience with HMI and PLC systems.
• In-depth knowledge of FDA, cGMP, and OSHA regulations and a commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to increase equipment uptime and optimize operational efficiency through preventative maintenance.
