Job Title: Operations and Training Coordinator We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations and Training Coordinator to join our team at EVRAZ North America in Red Deer, Alberta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in the area of technical training and staff scheduling.
Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate the updating of training materials used for classroom, online and on-the-job training with subject matter experts
- Maintain training records (e.g., trainee list, schedules, attendance sheets, database)
- Book all aspects of training sessions to ensure they are properly set up
- Prepare and disseminate material (e.g., instructional notes, feedback forms)
- Update and maintain timecards and work schedules for hourly employees in Kronos Systems as determined by EVRAZ Leadership
- Enforce, maintain all requirements and documentation for the Collective Agreement as it relates to scheduling, recalls, transfers and other applicable areas
- Provide information to employees on scheduling matters
- Act as a point of contact for vendors, participants and EVRAZ Leadership
- Handle payroll, accounts receivable and ensure invoices are paid
- Submit reports on training activities, training results, employee schedules
Requirements: - Post-secondary education in administration, training and/or project management
- 2-5 years' experience as a Training Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role
- 2 years of experience as a staff scheduler
- Preference will be given to candidates with a focus on learning, development and training
- Experience working with Kronos is an asset
- Well-organized and flexible with well-developed time management skills to handle a demanding workload and multiple/tight deadlines
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
