Architectural Draftsman
Location: Lenox, Massachusetts
The Architectural Staff will work closely with the architectural and interiors teams in the production and design for all project phases including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and delivery of construction documents.
Responsibilities
- Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of various sizes and complexities.
- Performs analyses of design, planning, occupancy studies, and high-level design layouts.
- Assists in the development of sketch rendering perspectives and design presentation material.
- Works directly alongside the project design lead/architect and is responsible for much of the drawing production processes.
- Leads projects in consistent and high-quality drawing development at all stages of the project; including schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- May be required to oversee and manage drafting staff.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in architecture, plus 2-4 years of professional experience.
- Must be able to work both collaboratively as a team alongside other architects, designers, and staff as well as independently.
- Extensive experience in architectural drafting.
Software skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk software’s including Revit Architecture is an absolute prerequisite – candidates who do not have at least 2 years experience utilizing the software will not be considered.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft 365 environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe software’s including Photoshop.
- Proficiency with navigating Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or BIM 360 is preferred, but not required.
