Architectural Draftsperson

Location: Lenox, Massachusetts

The Architectural Draftsman will work closely with the architectural and interiors teams in the production and design for all project phases including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and delivery of construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project.
• Performs design layouts and features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.
• Works directly alongside the project design lead, architect, and/or other architectural or project management staff and is expected to partake in drafting during all stages of the project including schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture. 1-2 years of experience with a professional firm is preferred, but not required.

Software skills:

• Experience in Autodesk software; including Revit Architecture. Proficiency is preferred, but not required.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft 365 environment and Adobe software including Photoshop. Proficiency is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with navigating Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or BIM 360 is preferred, but not required.
