Overview: Join our Investment Operations team as an Analyst to help transform our working environment with new investment and operational tools. We’re implementing an Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and updating our core processes to support our investment platforms and middle office needs, aligning with our business growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Reconciliation : Support daily cash and security reconciliation efforts with the IBOR implementation. Execute reconciliations across Custody, Accounting, and related systems for various asset classes.
- Operational Trade Support : Provide trade support for equity, fixed income, and derivative investments. This includes trade verification, cash reporting, foreign exchange, and research on failed trades.
- Transaction Support : Assist with transactions in holdings (corporate actions, reconciliations), derivatives (variation margins, collateral, settlements), private equity, and investment strategy (product and strategy changes). Ensure processes and systems are in place for these transactions.
- Communication : Provide timely communication to portfolio managers, team members, traders, brokers, custodians, and fund accountants.
- Industry Interaction : Interact daily with portfolio managers, brokers, and traders, and maintain relationships with external partners like brokers, custodians, and key vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and early morning hours to meet US market open times.
- Strong desire to learn about the investment business and processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with financial data software
