Key Responsibilities:
- Culinary Leadership: Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Menu Execution: Execute menu items with precision, ensuring presentation and taste align with the restaurant's standards.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Inventory & Cost Management: Assist in managing food costs, inventory, and ordering to ensure efficiency and minimize waste.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges proactively and maintain composure in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
- Skills: Strong culinary skills with expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and team management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Passion: A love for food and hospitality, with a dedication to delivering memorable guest experiences.
