Job Description:
  • Configure, Install and provide technical support for the Endpoint Security Solution for Windows Defender and Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • Install, configure, and provide oversight of Windows Defender
  • Monitor and Analyse security logs to identify potential security breaches, Assesses all Vulnerabilities within environment and then mitigate all vulnerabilities
  • Create, distribute, maintain Agents and Repositories.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend security improvements.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Defender solutions
  • Understand defender policies being applied to users and devices
  • Execute onboarding and Offboarding of endpoints to defender and Intune according to migration plans
  • Supported escalated Microsoft Defender incidents
  • Troubleshoot and resolve antivirus related problems
  • Work with other members of IT team to identify and address infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Applies new techniques and trends that are in line with overall information security objectives and risk tolerance
  • Builds effective relationships with key stakeholders who own and support IT infrastructure, applications, processes, and operations
  • Ability to explain technical risks and issues to executives and business leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the development of specific proactive procedures for the detection of security breaches across a large enterprise network
  • Set up Automated Event Notifications.
  • Develop and Maintain security policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with packaging, deployment, etc. teams on creating and distributing tools designed to keep the SEP client healthy and in compliance.
  • Follow up with site administrators for status on noncompliant platforms and maintain any necessary exception documentation.
  • Maintain documentation for exceptions to SEP standards.
  • Knowledge of installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair, design and planning of Windows Defender / Endpoint Security systems
  • Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communications from both business and technical perspectives, written and oral
