Construction Superintendent Position Summary:
Work with smart people and top construction managers, general managers and PMs, and APMs in a dynamic and rapidly growing company to lead the building of projects in commercial, corporate, healthcare, housing, and institutional sectors across the Boston and New England area.
Construction Superintendent Responsibilities: - Lead and promote a culture of excellent quality construction buildouts centered around teamwork, trust, and collaboration.
- Engage and support the construction partners to ensure the team's contributions are truly valued.
- Make a lasting impact in a region known for its rich architectural history and vibrant construction opportunities.
- Oversee projects throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire
- Work directly with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to bring construction projects from vision to reality.
- Lead and supervise the team to ensure each project is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Lead everything from initial site setup to final inspection working with everyone involved in your projects-clients, architects, and subcontractors
- Manage changing priorities and work plans.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification by monitoring daily activities, conducting inspections, and facilitating problem-solving on the spot.
- Prioritize Safety maintaining safety standards and ensuring that all site equipment, practices, and subcontractor activities comply with OSHA guidelines.
Construction Superintendent Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years field experience as a Superintendent in a comparable role managing people and commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to make decisive, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications, and quickly communicate key insights to others.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to work onsite in the Boston, New England region
