Cary Consolidated Accounting OfficennLocation: 222 Gregson Drive, Cary, North Carolina 27511nnSummary: Responsible for entire A/P process from receipt of invoice to its payment, generating A/R statements for our dealerships, and generating associated journal entries.nnSupervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:nnAccounts Payable will encompass the processing of all accounts payable transactions including bills, returns, and credit card charges ensuring accuracy of each bill and proper classification as expense or capitalizable item in accordance with our chart of accounts.nnAbility to process invoices and payments with high level of accuracy.nnReconciles vendor statements and responds to vendor questions in timely manner. Builds relationships and credibility with the vendors.nnMay assist with reconciliation of monthly travel credit card statements.nnPrepares daily cash sheetnnAssists in General Ledger maintenance and reclasses.nnAssists with new vendor set up.nnSupports the annual 1099 process.nnResponsible for generating A/R statements for charges paid by the corporate office on behalf of the dealerships, gathering necessary support for those charges, and answering related dealership inquiries.nnEnsures that necessary controls are in place to safeguard assetsnnAssists in training and supervising office staffnnEnsures that annual external audit requirements are metnnMaintains effective employee relationsnnMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areannParticipates in required trainingnnRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping systemnnFollows Safeguards rules and regulations.nnDemonstrates the Company’s Core ValuesnnComplies with Company policies and proceduresnnObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.nnOther duties as assignednnQualifications:nnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to learn the Accounts Payable subledger system and General Ledger system and additional web based applications utilized in operations or accounting.nnCommunication Skills:nnAbility to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with company personnel, financial institution personnel, and external auditors.nnAttendance Expectations:nnThe position requires regular and predictable attendance.
