Travelling Field Service Technician
National client base
Under the direction of the Field Services Manager, you will erect and install batch and mixing equipment manufactured. Work is project based and could require 1-3 weeks of travel at a time is typical and overnight travel is required.
RESPONSIBIITIES AND DUTIES:
• Complete mechanical erection of all equipment in batching and mixing plant.
• Verify equipment on site and staged.
• Verify footings located properly.
• Complete daily and weekly reports on progress and issues.
• Communicate with supervisor any delays, issues and requests for change orders.
• Communicate with customers as needed.
• Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night
• Assist with start-up and trouble shooting.
• Perform all duties assigned by the Field Services Manager.

• Excellent construction skills and ability to resolve challenges.
• Ability to read and understand assembly prints and instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as with crew members
• Ability to adapt to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time.
• Ability to prioritize and complete work on time and on budget with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to use basic Math skills - add, subtract, multiply, divide, measurements, fractions.
• Ability to operate equipment such as telescoping forklift, aerial lift, etc.
• Ability to use basic construction tools including hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, portable welder, cutting torch, rigging chains and straps, ladders, etc.
• Ability to work safely and follow all safety rules, policies and regulations.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Jobsite, mostly outdoors Extensive Travel required (80-90%); duration dependent on project, 1-3 weeks at a time typical. Non-union.
