Title: CT Technician
Location: Avon, CO
Schedule : 12 hr/Day
Job Description:
Coordinate and performs diagnostic CT exams to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care, and assist with the management of the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments and ensure the proper patient charge.
Key responsibilities:

• Performs all radiographic CT examinations according to Clients protocols.
• Demonstrates use of radiation safety practices when using the CT equipment.
• Participates in the orientation and training of new employees and health care professionals.
• Maintains knowledge of all CT examinations.
• Demonstrates ability to utilize high pressure injector.
• Demonstrates ability to utilize 3D computer equipment.
• Performs all general diagnostic radiology examinations
• Monitors inventory of supplies and notifies appropriate staff for ordering when stock is low.
• Correctly and accurately documents patient information using computer systems.
• Maintain constructive collaborative communication with patients, patient's family, physicians, co- workers and other members of health care team to contribute to continuity of care.
• Implements and maintains established department and hospital policies and procedures.
• Abides by image quality assurance, radiation safety, infection control standards, and universal precautions.
• Role models the principals of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be HIPAA compliant.

Required experience:

• One year of experience preferred, experience in a healthcare setting required.

Certification(s):

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Computed Tomography (CT) credentials required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
