Applicants' education/experience will be considered and the position may be filled at a lower or higher level, as appropriate.nnThe work schedule for this position is Saturday through Monday nights, 7pm to 7am.nnCT Technologist InnEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEnnMinimum Qualifications:nnAssociates of Applied SciencennGraduate of an accredited radiography programnnGraduate of an accredited computed tomography program (to include UTMB cross-training program)nnNo experience requirednnLICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONSnnAll below Required:nnAmerican Registry for Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R)nnAmerican Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine TechnologynnCertification Board NMTCB (CT)nnTexas Medical Board certification (MRT)nnAmerican Heart Association BLSnnThe CT Technologist I position works independently to complete a variety of routine diagnostic CT procedures to include common and special CT exams of moderate complexity. This position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special CT procedures. This CT Technologist I position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to CTexam standards, radiation dose standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service. This position is a member of the direct patient care team.nnCT Technologist IInnEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEnnMinimum Qualifications:nnAssociates of Applied SciencennGraduate of an accredited radiology programnnGraduate of an accredited computed tomography program (to include UTMB Cross-training program)nnProficient in all CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, CT Cardiac and CT Interventional proceduresnn3+ years of experiencennLICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONSnnRequired:nnAmerican Registry for Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R)nnAmerican Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board NMTCB (CT)nnTexas Medical Board certification (MRT)nnAmerican Heart Association BLSnnThe CT Technologist II position is an experienced technologist who completes a variety of moderate to complex diagnostic CT procedures to include common and special exams of high difficulty. This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of CT exams. The CT Technologist II position serves as a mentor and trainer to the CT Technologist I and students. This position works independently by exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures. The CT Technologist II position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special CT procedures.
