SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: ANSER is seeking a senior Technology Commercialization Consultant (Semiconductor Industry) to work with the CHIPS Research and Development Office (CRDO). In this role you will provide support and subject matter expertise with planning preparing and providing recommendations for implementation of policies and strategies for technology commercialization.
Day to day includes:
- Provide support in the acceleration of commercialization and domestic availability of CRDO funded technologies.
- Provide support in business case development for CRDO funded researchers, including for venture capital pitch decks.
- Perform economic impact assessments of funded initiatives; facilitate and organize commercialization workshops and mentorship programs.
- Perform technology economic analysis to inform new programs targeting public and private follow on funding sources.
- Provide guidance and advice on the commercial market, strategy, business planning, intellectual property, product development, supply chain considerations and developing market studies.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, marketing or related discipline.
- 10 or more years progressive and relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.
- 5 or more years' experience in technology commercialization.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in the process of transitioning technologies and programs from the research phase to the marketplace.
- Relevant technology transfer experience.
- Understanding of technology marketing.
- Experience synthesizing information, data and technical information into detailed and digestible stories and presentations for actionable recommendations.
- Ability to present findings, technical information and market data to non-technical senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience solving complex problems across government, complex industries or academia.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree.
- Experience/knowledge of in budgeting, contracting, and financial management.
- Experience/knowledge of supporting policy and process improvement activities.
