Job Description

IntePros is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Physical Security Technology Manager to join our industry-leading healthcare client based in Philadelphia, PA. This person will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of all security department technology systems and equipment. This role ensures systems meet both departmental and industry standards, managing client staff, contracted vendors, and collaborating with internal teams including IS groups and internal customers.


Key Responsibilities


Access Control Systems:

  • Maintain and update the C*Cure 9000 Security System.
  • Oversee the Employee Identification Card process, ensuring appropriate access levels are assigned.
  • Audit system components for relevancy and functionality, and provide training on the C*Cure system as needed.
  • Provide access control logs upon request.


Video Management Systems (VMS):

  • Maintain and update the Cognyte VMS.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure all cameras are operational and recording per departmental standards.
  • Ensure video wall displays in security command centers are functional and staff are trained in their use.
  • Provide recorded video reviews for customers as required.


Project Management:

  • Collaborate with Facilities Project Management and Construction teams on security technology installation or removal for construction projects.
  • Direct vendors on security technology installations for department-initiated projects.
  • Assist with scoping and designing new security technology proposals.


Technology Management:

  • Recommend new technologies to meet security needs and maintain industry standards.
  • Oversee physical key authorization, distribution, and tracking.
  • Ensure all departmental-specific technology and software are functioning properly and updated regularly.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with physical security principles, access control, intrusion detection, or CCTV systems in a networked environment.
  • Experience with IP-based Video Management Systems.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle and maintain insurance eligibility through client.
  • Availability for emergency calls 24/7.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and effective organizational abilities.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years implementing and researching emerging physical security technologies.
  • 2+ years of project management experience in technology installation or system upgrades.
  • Technical proficiency with Software House C*Cure 9000 is strongly desired.
