Our Manufacturing client, dedicated for over 30 years in performance and quality creative and innovative apparel is seeking a Production Manager or Operations Manager to manage their production and team.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on leadership experience
• Hands on experience leading production workers in garment / textile production industry
• Minimum of 5 years working in a Lean culture, preferred to have earned at least a 6Sigma Green Belt.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred in Engineering or other technical focus
• Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP Systems
• Production scheduling and project management skills

This position oversees the production teams and ensures the efficient manufacturing of quality products on time. It is a high visibility position and ensures that team members are trained and aware of all safety practices, key metrics, and performance objectives.

The Production or Operations Manager will:

• Establish a safety-first culture and lead by example
• Establish production KPI's using lean tools to measure Continuous Improvement
• Be a servant leader of the production workforce
• Focus on reducing expenses and increasing productivity
• Manage resources including raw materials and workforce ensuring production workflow meets deadlines
• Manage and upkeep of machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime

The role will offer competitive salary based on experience and qualifications of a base salary between $100-155k for a Production or Operations Manager level hire.
