About the Team
The Ventures Innovation team at Electronic Arts is dedicated to exploring new opportunities beyond the bounds of traditional gaming; specifically new opportunities across the rapidly evolving industry as well as disruptive forms of sports entertainment.
As part of the Experiences organization, we are a forward-thinking team of innovators, strategists, creatives, engineers, and statisticians. Together, we incubate disruptive products, features, and capabilities that sit outside the core gaming experiences of EA, breaking new ground in interactive experiences and sports entertainment.
Video Editor
As a Video Editor you will work alongside a team of strategists, engineers, and experience designers to bring new products and experience to life for exploration/prototyping. You will be responsible for editing concept videos, bringing 3D elements to life, and achieving the final creative vision of new experiences to be used for presentation and ideation across EA.
You will be at the forefront of designing user-centric experiences, and not only leading the strategy but also executing the work alongside other top product designers. We're looking for a creative and experienced Lead Designer who is not only passionate about gaming but also possesses the ability to think critically, solve complex design problems, and collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Bring projects to life, from ideation to final output, by using video editing, audio design. Motion graphics, and more with final high quality production value.
- Work closely with strategists and experienced designers to tap into the insights of new products, and bring them to life visually in a clear and crisp manner.
- Drive the iterative process to ensure the highest quality of designs and iterative outputs.
You'll also bring the following skills or experiences to our team:
- An editor with a proven track-record of delivering multiple successful projects.
- Experience producing world class assets, on time and on brief.
- Deep passion and insight into the latest trends, techniques, and content style.
- Solution focused with the ability to dive technically deep while still maintaining focus on deadlines.
- Deep knowledge and experience with world class pacing and cinematic flow.
- Experience with multiple formats and can identify graphical, editorial trends.
- Expert knowledge of video editing, motion graphics, and 3D packages.
- A passion for storytelling and an expert level understanding of post-production pipelines.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). - California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
