The Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Manager of Marketing to help lead and execute the company's marketing strategies, driving brand growth, customer acquisition, and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional platforms, as well as experience in managing small marketing teams. You will work closely with leadership and various departments to shape the marketing vision and ensure its alignment with the company's overall goals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Lead the development of comprehensive marketing plans and strategies across various channels, including digital, content, email, and social media marketing, to achieve business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of marketing professionals, ensuring efficient execution of campaigns and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Brand Management: Oversee brand strategy, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels. Collaborate with creative teams to enhance brand awareness and positioning.
- Campaign Execution and Optimization: Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
- Budget Management: Support in the development of, and manage, the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources to maximize ROI.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats. Use insights to inform marketing strategy and differentiate the brand.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the product, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish KPIs and use analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on marketing performance.
- Lead Generation and Demand Generation: Implement strategies that drive qualified leads and support sales efforts. Manage the marketing funnel from lead acquisition through nurturing to conversion.
- Public Relations and Events: Collaborate with external PR teams and manage participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
- Social and Environmental Decision-Making: As a leader, you will champion social and environmental responsibility, driving initiatives that contribute to positive social impact and sustainable business practices as part of our commitment to making a difference.
What You Bring
- 5 - 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience leading and developing marketing teams, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and grow team members.
- Strong ability to think strategically and align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
- Deep understanding of SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, PPC, and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot).
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and campaign optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and strategies to senior leadership.
- Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the nonprofit sector or SAAS marketing is a plus!
