Position: Senior Technical Recruiter
Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid - 2 days a week in the Herndon Office)
Job Overview:Exostar has an opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Technical Recruiter to identify and recruit qualified candidates to build our Exostar team. This role will manage the full life cycle recruiting function to ensure timely fulfillment of all recruitment including job posting, candidate sourcing, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, offer negotiations as well as fulfilling HR related tasks as needed.
Your responsibilities:- Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance and onboarding, including timely communication and feedback
- Effectively partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of the role
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including negotiating offers and closing candidates
- Managing and recommending salaries from benchmark/market data, updating and managing our careers page, be proactive with Social Media posts on roles and support our global team as needed
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and thinking outside the box in identifying talent. Proactively research, register and attend career and/or college fairs; job boards and talent sources as it relates to our business and produces results
- Develop and execute recruiting plans, metrics, and strategies to identify and attract top talent in the technical field, cyber security, sales and marketing, and support roles
- Be creative and proactive in improving our recruiting processes, ITAR requirements, interviewing protocol, job descriptions, guidebook and all recruiting related activity
- Extend and negotiate offers as needed, initiate background check on candidates who have accepted offers and review results; initiate the onboarding process; coordinate and schedule new hire orientation
- Performing HR Support related tasks as needed
Basic Qualifications:- 7-10 + years of experience in full life cycle recruiting
- Excellent candidate assessment skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with prospective candidates
- Highly effective social media and internet search engine techniques to cultivate and source both active and passive candidates
- Knowledge and/or experience maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system
- Proficiency in MS Office and web-based search engines
- Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal and follow-through skills, and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Solid organizational skills and attention to details
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience filling IT industry related Sales, Marketing, Customer Success roles a plus
- HR Admin experience a plus
- Ultipro background
Education:- BA/BS degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
