Position Description:LCG's HR Team is seeking a
Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) (Mid) to immerse themselves in the business to understand, how it works, where it is going, and how they can best partner with the different teams. They will be curious to understand business challenges and keen to lean in with thought-provoking questions and share new ideas.
Using their HR knowledge and industry experience the HRBP will turn the people strategy into tangible actions that support business performance and employee engagement. They will partner with other functions to provide leadership and support in the execution of HR related projects such as workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development. To be successful in the role of HRBP, the ideal candidate must foster meaningful relationships with key people in the business, and other divisions of the organization. Skills in relationship building and influencing are essential. The HRBP will need to be able to use data, metrics and evidence to inform and drive decision making.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Establishing strong business relationships with Service Delivery teams and create effective partnerships across corporate departments.
- Responsible for executing the complete talent acquisition lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for roles within designated business lines, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and workforce needs.
- Proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and developing solutions in partnership with different levels of management.
- Providing business insight through data analytics, research and benchmarking to inform and recommend solutions to enable business and career growth.
- Recommending and implementing winning practices employed in the areas of talent acquisition, assessment, development, compensation, organizational effectiveness, strategy, on-boarding, change management and communications.
- Analyzing and concisely presenting information to leaders and employees to enable good business decisions.
- Comprehensive expertise across HR functions, including talent management, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and coordinate initiatives and projects by leveraging cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes both with and without formal authority.
- Proficiency in organizational effectiveness strategies, such as change management, talent development, and group facilitation.
- Partnering with different lines of business to identify, develop and execute talent strategies with impacts within Service Delivery.
- Successfully fulfilling responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced, and complex environment.
Requirements: - The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner and at least 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field is required.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and technology (ADP, SharePoint).
- Strong experience leading project teams and/or people.
- Solid track record in overall HR management to include serving as a trusted advisor and people leader.
- Strong communication skills as well as demonstrated experience establishing strong rapport and credibility as a forward-looking thought leader.
- Proven ability to influence for impact at all levels and develop an internal network to gain support for best HR practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and influencing all levels of management.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to address shifting business needs, including supporting and emerging initiatives such as proposal opportunities.
- Ability to navigate cultural and business sensitivities to champion diversity, equity, inclusion, performance, and employee engagement.
Preferred Qualifications: - PHR (SHRM-CP) or SPHR (SHRM - SCP) certification.
- Experience in managing / correcting Payroll (Deltek)
- Experience with working proposals in the federal contracting arena.
- Google Data Analytics Professional Certification
Compensation and BenefitsThe projected compensation range for this position is $72,800 to $108,100 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target annual salary is $89,300. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
