T&M Associates is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of progressively responsible technical and project management experience in Land Development, with a strong understanding of zoning analysis, land planning, land surveying, grading design, drainage design, utility layout, stormwater management, soil erosion and sediment control, flood zone impacts, wetlands, landscape concepts, and local/regional/state regulations. Experience testifying at zoning hearings and public meetings is also required. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of either Philadelphia or King of Prussia, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 5-8 technical staff while managing their technical workload.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group in collaboration with the Department Manager, Regional Market Leader, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage projects for core clients, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities include project scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, and proposal preparation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both private and public clients, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering opportunities for new business development.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required (PA license preferred).
- 10-15 years of experience in land development, with expertise in zoning analysis, land planning, grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater management, and other relevant technical areas, including NPDES and PennDOT permitting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater modeling software.
- Proven experience in technical, project, and client management, with a preference for prior business management experience.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to supervise and develop a team.
- Exceptional project management abilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and task delegation.
- Self-driven, with a proactive approach to capturing new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presenting at meetings or hearings.
