T&M Associates is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental team. This position is flexible with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to combine remote work with in-office collaboration at any of our offices (OH, NJ, IN, or PA).
As an Environmental Engineer at T&M Associates, you will play a key role in leading the design and implementation of environmental remediation systems. Your work will involve treatment designs, mechanical piping layouts, pumping and piping calculations, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary environmental remediation teams. Projects will focus on designing groundwater treatment processes and infrastructure, with the opportunity to work alongside a strong team of civil, environmental, automation, electrical, and structural engineers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead design phases for sub-systems in nationwide environmental remediation projects
- Manage planning tasks, including conducting analyses, performing calculations, evaluating treatment alternatives, creating technical figures/tables, and preparing comprehensive technical reports
- Oversee and support design activities by planning, producing detailed drawings and technical specifications, performing necessary calculations, and preparing bid documents
- Lead and contribute to field data assessments in support of remediation evaluations and design efforts
- Provide engineering support during the bid-phase, address RFIs, offer construction assistance, and/or provide construction oversight
- Collaborate with team members and effectively manage your workload independently
Qualifications:- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 4-10 years of environmental engineering experience, with a focus on remediation systems and pumping/well infrastructure
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred, with the ability to pursue PE licensure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and exhibit a willingness to learn
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office
- Current 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus
