Job OverviewMilestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Audio/Visual Event Lead Technician to assist in planning and executing world class internal corporate events for our client. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our events are well-coordinated, technically flawless, and deliver an exceptional experience. How You Will Make An Impact - Coordinate all technical aspects of AV support for internal corporate events, including but not limited to meetings, town halls, workshops, and presentations
- Technical expert and lead equipment operator on all aspects of AV in a corporate setting, including technologies like audio mixers, PTZ cameras, video switchers, wireless microphones, basic lighting, video playback systems, and more.
- Coordinate logistics for a team of 5 local and remote AV Event Technicians, ensuring distribution of event coverage
- Oversee setup and tear down of mobile event equipment as needed
- Assist with post-event management including content editing/distribution and follow-up
- Oversee readiness and maintenance of installed equipment
- Help drive new and continuing employee training and serve as technical subject matter expert.
- Provide project management of a calendar of events, balancing near-term and long-term event planning needs, in collaboration with event coordinators and event producer teams
- Regularly liaison with high-level stakeholders including corporate executives and their assistants, providing excellent customer service
What You Will Need to Succeed - Proven experience (5 years) as an event technician in a corporate environment, with existing experience as a lead technician strongly preferred
- Extremely comfortable with operation of a wide variety of production equipment commonly utilized in corporate settings. The ideal candidate would be an expert in at least one area, comfortable with multiple, and able to quickly learn any lacking skills. Areas of expertise include:
- Audio mixers (i.e. Yamaha TF1)
- Audio accessories (microphones, wireless, etc.)
- Video Switchers (i.e. Ross Carbonite)
- Hybrid Video Conference Equipment (Zoom Rooms)
- Video Playback Software (i.e. PlaybackPro)
- Basic DMX Lighting Control
- Presenter control and display technologies (teleprompters, perfectcue, timers, etc.)
- Advanced experience with Zoom (meeting management, webinar management)
- Working knowledge of the following technologies:
- Google Apps for Business, including Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Groups
- Documentation tools such as Confluence
- Project Management software such as Jira
- Ticketing systems like Service Now
- Experience managing shows and calling cues a plus
- Proven, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to regularly work onsite, out of our client's office in San Francisco

- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed to support event schedules
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges
- Experience working with external AV vendors and managing vendor relationships is a plus
