OverviewMobile Health is seeking an experienced and strategic
Human Resources Manager who will report directly to the CEO and will lead and oversee HR operations, ensuring alignment with our company's mission, core values, and strategic goals. This role will focus on driving organizational excellence through effective people management, innovative HR strategies, and a commitment to building a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. The ideal candidate will bring extensive HR expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a forward-thinking approach to help scale our growing organization.
The Human Resource Manager oversees all day-to-day HR operations within the organization, ensuring effective and efficient HR functions. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruiting and Onboarding/Offboarding: Extensive end-to-end recruiting experience for corporate and clinical roles, aligning with Mobile Health's staffing needs. Managing talent acquisition processes and ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and exiting employees.
- Employee Benefits Administration: Coordinating employee benefits through a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and acting as a resource for benefits inquiries.
- Employee Relations: Fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, promoting engagement, and supporting workplace morale.
- HRIS and Intranet Management: Maintaining the HR Information System (HRIS) and organizing content for the intranet site to keep resources easily accessible and up to date.
- Administrative Support: Handling HR record-keeping, file maintenance, and data entry in HRIS as needed.
- Professional Development: Lead growth-focused learning and development for corporate and clinical staff.
- Supervision: Directly supervising and providing guidance to one HR Generalist to support HR initiatives and daily tasks.
This position is essential to supporting HR operations and contributing to an organized, responsive, and employee-focused HR function.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities• End-to-end recruiting for corporate and clinical roles, aligning with Mobile Health's staffing needs.
• Employee Relations.
• Management of HR Generalist.
• Install and refine a performance management system tied to salary, career development, and retention
• Benefit expert (from Open Enrollment to Terminations).
• All state and federal reporting.
• Works closely with all department managers and Senior Leadership.
• Organization-wide communications as necessary.
• Onboarding/Terminations.
• Responsible for coordinating orientation.
• Maintain Mobile Health's organization charts.
• Responsible for clinic and corporate visits and acting as a liaison between staff and HR.
• Responsible for learning and development initiatives for corporate and clinical staff.
• Monitors the HR email inbox and delegates enquiries as needed.
• Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files for corporate and clinic staff.
• Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
• Responsible for maintaining the company's intranet page.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
• Cultivate and promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging company culture that reflects organizational values and supports team collaboration and employee satisfaction.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience & Education• Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• 5 - 8 years Generalist or HR Manager role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Extensive End-to-end recruiting experience for corporate and clinical roles.
• Experience with HRIS systems and leveraging technology in HR operations.
• HR experience managing a remote team.
• Proven experience in fostering and building a positive, inclusive, and engaging company culture that aligns with organizational values and goals.
• Experience with EOS is a plus
