Operations Analyst

Job Description
The Operations Analyst is a critical role responsible for analyzing and optimizing operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. This role involves a deep dive into data, identifying trends, and recommending actionable insights to drive business growth. Sensaria's Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and contributing to the overall success of Sensaria. This position will be based on-site in our offices in Morrisville, NC. Given the close communication and coordination required with both the operations and engineering teams, the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office Monday thru Friday as his or her standard work week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, clean, and analyze operational data from various sources.
    • Develop, maintain, and publish on regular intervals key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into operational trends and issues.
    • Manage the generation and distribution of all metrics associated with operations, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
    • Support root cause analysis and corrective action work in instances where metrics evidence performance unfavorable to target.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop recommendations for optimization. Drive and evolve metrics collection and publication as industry tools and trends change within the discipline.
    • Implement process changes and measure their impact on operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
Project Management:
    • Lead and manage operational projects, ensuring timely completion and achieving desired outcomes.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, timeline, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to stay on track.
    • Validate cost reductions associated with proposed project and process improvement work, then track and confirm those costs following launch and into sustainment phase.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
    • Support AOP generation and tracking of cost reduction against AOP targets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • 4+ yrs Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies and Six Sigma is a plus.

Compensation Range: $73,000 - $93,400 annually
