We are looking for a results-driven Paid Media Manager to lead our paid media strategy across various channels, including paid search, paid social, display and retargeting.The Paid Media Manager role will be pivotal in driving targeted traffic for key B2B personas to Clutch and optimizing bid and media management strategies to optimize ad spend and ROI. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, budgeting, pacing, implementing and optimizing Clutch campaigns from start to finish, as well as reporting out on key insights and areas for improvement. This position would self-manage all of our paid accounts, but also work with both internal and external partners to meet paid goals.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Performance Marketing to develop strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Develop and execute paid media strategies across platforms such as Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Meta, and others.
- Manage day-to-day campaign activities, including budgeting, forecasting, bid optimization, ad copy testing, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and market analysis.
- Responsible for QA of initial campaign build outs to ensure tracking, budget, audiences, creative, and targeting drive optimal performance across all campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal and external creative partners in defining creative roadmaps to guide creation of compelling ad creative and landing pages that foster engagement and high conversion rates with B2B audiences, aligning with overall brand positioning and goals.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide weekly reports, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in paid media, ad technology, and platform changes to continuously improve strategy and execution.
- Experiment with new platforms and ad formats to expand our reach and improve campaign performance.
- Develop A/B tests as needed to uncover additional optimization insights to improve key performance metrics such as click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate (CVR), return on ad spend (ROAS), and cost per acquisition (CPA).
- Collaborate with the team to ensure project deadlines and progress on larger, key initiatives are met, while also delivering on paid traffic goals.
- Share updates, roadblocks, or contingencies with peers outside marketing and surface up to leadership to ensure cross-functional projects stay on track.
- Set OKRs independently and utilize analytics tools to track campaign results, report on KPIs, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any relevant major.
- Minimum 5-7+ years of experience working on Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Microsoft Ads, and Paid Social advertising (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Proven track record with specific examples of driving high converting campaigns and ROI through paid media in a B2B environment with large scale campaigns.
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.) and the ability to analyze and pull insights from large sets of data.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, paid specific technical knowledge, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to develop cross-department relationships and keep stakeholders informed of campaign performance.
- Experience problem solving and troubleshooting CRMs, integrations, conversion tracking implementation.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Have worked on high-performing websites and understand the B2B sales funnel.
- Ability to clearly outline recommendations weekly/monthly progress against goals and timelines, translating those findings into written/visuals with recommendations.
Nice to Haves
- Experience working in a B2B marketplace.
- Minimum +2 years of agency experience.
- Preferred experience with conversion tracking: Google Tag Manager, Hubspot, Zapier, etc.
- Expertise in Looker and Asana.
- Track record of managing a team of 2 or more.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in Clutch's annual performance bonus program and any applicable incentives, which will be communicated during the hiring process.
Salary at Clutch is determined based on factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, and market. For this position, we expect a base salary range between $80,000 and $110,000.
