Position Overview
The Regional Manager is responsible for directing and leading our management teams and clearly understands what is expected of their business and have a plan in place to accomplish the expectations. Operates within the policies and procedures of the organization and creates an environment that motivates people to be successful.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Oversee, develop, and execute a staff of multiple locations that operates as a team to ultimately support Branch Management. Recruits, interviews, and selects personnel needed to efficiently staff sales and/or operations functions.
- Ensuring company vision, standards, and protocols are followed.
- Overseeing daily operation, managing budget, and setting performance objectives
- Responsible for the financial results, revenue and operating income of assigned branch locations.
- Works to ensure customer satisfaction, sales and retention success.
- Works with the Executive Vice President of Operations to establish branch goals and objectives.
- Implements and achieves the goals and objectives of the assigned branches ensuring they are communicated to all levels of management, operations, sales and office staff.
- Monitor operational performance results against plans by evaluating daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Provides remote management of two or more managers who supervise office, sales and operations departments. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units to be efficient and cost - effective.
- Ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance all branches follow safety, health and business laws and regulations.
- Deals with escalated customer issues, incident reports, and legal actions.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to subordinates and other Team members. Works with People & Culture to aid and develop plans for associate growth and development.
- Recruiting, training, and supporting Branch Management as well as conducting regular performance appraisals.
- Organizes and implements training programs as they are assigned.
- Ensure that all branch service Teams understand the overall company objectives as well as their individual department objectives and work together to achieve their stated goals.
- Works with Director of Talent Acquisition & Development to maintain proper staffing levels within the Region.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university, five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience in lawn/horticulture agronomic field and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. MS/MA preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services required.
- Certificates, licenses and registrations as required by federal and state law.
- Requires the ability to travel extensively within a defined geographic region.
