Job Description
SMX is seeking a Project Manager to support USINDOPACOM J6 portfolio of programs. This position is onsite Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corps Base in Hawaii.

This position requires a DoD Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance which requires US citizenship for work on a DoD contract.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Independently manage and monitor tasks as directed from the J68 and designees
  • Provide technical experience to coordinate activities to ensure stakeholders are aligned to meet division goals, specifically the INDOPACOM Mission Network (IMN) engineering project
  • Prepare mature products for dissemination at high level briefs
  • Organize cross-functional meetings between relevant intra-agency personnel
  • Assist in the allocation of appropriate resources to ensure division strategies are completed within given time and budget
  • Assist with knowledge management of overall division projects and strategy to ensure cohesion of effort
  • Establish effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and deconflict calendars to ensure consistent opportunities for collaboration
  • Manage the implementation and use of workflow management tools to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve communication across the organization

Required Skills & Experience
  • Active Secret security clearance with TS eligibility
  • BS/BA in Project Management and/or Business/Finance OR associate's degree and additional experience in relevant field or position may be substituted for a BS/BA
  • Minimum of 5 years of operational OR project/program management experience
  • Previous experience supporting large projects or personnel management and/or support for initiatives with technical objectives
  • Ability to complete tasks within required timeframes with no supervision
  • Expert at use of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio and Project
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer focused
  • Capacity to learn new systems rapidly and adapt quickly to change

Desired Skills & Experience
  • 8 years project management and/or technical experience
  • Experience with USINDOPACOM
  • Intra-agency or joint command experience

The proposed salary for this position is:

$95,300-$158,900 USD
