WHAT YOU WILL DO:The Senior Director of Total Rewards will design, implement, and oversee integrated total reward strategies that attract key talent, recognize high performance, are fiscally responsible, and support retention efforts. Job duties include:
- • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and enhances team member satisfaction and retention at all levels of the organization.
- Benefits Management: Oversee the administration of all team member benefits programs, including health and wellness plans, retirement plans, life, and disability insurance, leave policies, and other perks.
- Compensation Analysis: Oversee the compensation philosophy, manage annual merit and bonus processes, conduct regular market evaluations and benchmarking to ensure our compensation remains aligned with industry standards and is cost-effective.
- Payroll: Oversee multi-state payroll operations, including performance appraisal processes, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
- Compliance: Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants to optimize service delivery and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Team Member Communication: Develop and execute effective communication strategies to educate employes about the value and details of their benefits, fostering a culture of appreciation and engagement.
- Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Utilize data to evaluate the effectiveness of benefits programs, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for improvements ahead of the industry trends.
- Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage the benefits budget, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the Total Rewards team, fostering professional development and a collaborative work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
YOUR MUST HAVES: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in benefits administration, compensation, or total rewards, in both union and non-union settings with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of benefits regulations, market trends, and best practices across the US and Canada.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing vendor relationship and negotiating contracts.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relation field.
- HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels.
- Proven history of working well within a team, including adherence to core values and dynamic corporate culture.
OUR ENVIRONMENT:This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
