Cyvl is a Boston-based tech startup revolutionizing how governments assess and manage transportation infrastructure. Our hardware-enabled analytics platform leverages sensors to capture LiDAR, imagery and GPS data. About the role

As our inaugural Head of People, you will be instrumental in shaping, nurturing, and developing our dynamic and high-performing team across the entire employee lifecycle. Your strategic vision will drive the development and execution of HR initiatives that align with Cyvl's ambitious growth goals.

Responsibilities
    • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and hiring process, ensuring we attract and hire top talent across all departments.
    • Employee Experience: Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction and well-being.
    • Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation systems and provide ongoing feedback to support employee development and growth.
    • Compensation & Benefits: Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
    • Organizational Development: Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including team building, leadership development, and succession planning.
    • HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and compliance.


Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in a scaling tech startup environment
    • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
    • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

$145,000 - $165,000 a year
