Elwyn is seeking a Director, Human Resources Management Systems to oversee the organization's human resource information systems, ensuring efficient and accurate management of HR data. This strategic leader ensures data integrity, system maintenance, and efficient module planning. They collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits to implement talent-focused strategic programs. This position focuses on leveraging technology to enhance HR processes and drive business outcomes.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with top management to align HR technology with organizational goals
  • Strategic planning, analyzing, and prioritizing of business requirements and HR technology delivery
  • Define and modify business workflows to support changing business and compliance needs
  • Analyze data for the HR department, informing decisions, plans, and strategies
  • Proactively identify and lead projects related to improving reporting, system efficiencies, and data usage
  • Ensure the integrity of internal database files, tables, and reports
  • Oversee ongoing system maintenance, data integrity, and confidentiality of the existing systems, HR data and reports
  • Implement new features and lead system configuration, testing, and training
  • Lead projects to set up and optimize systems for accurate and efficient end-user support
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure systems meet operational needs
  • Audit and analyze data accuracy for better management of HR operations
  • Eliminate administrative burdens by streamlining workflows and processes
  • Lead HR initiatives by consolidating data, performing in-depth analysis and interpretation/evaluation, summarizing results and key trends, updating materials, and preparing reports
  • Design reporting tools based on HR metrics to report on key issues such as diversity, turnover and retention
  • Direct and guide the Human Resources Management team as they analyze, design, evaluate, modify, test, and implement system functionality in coordination with the HR, Benefits, Payroll, Accounting, IT and Operational teams
  • Provide consultative and proactive recommendations to process owners on new/improved features, lead configuration, testing, training and support of end users, when appropriate
  • Provide direct support to, manages, trains and mentors assigned support staff with respect to HR activities (including transactions, system data entry and file maintenance, employee physical compliance, employment verification, unemployment compensation claims process, educational assistance programs), career development, workplace issue management and performance management
  • Perform other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Information Technology preferred, or equivalent HRMS experience
  • Possession of HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRP-SCP, HRIP)
  • Seven (7) years of progressively increasing experience with data and HRMS management, experience with large enterprise HR systems required (ADP, UKG, Dayforce)
  • Experience in managing large scale HRIS implementations and upgrades
  • Five (5) years of management experience
  • Deep understanding of key HR functions including Benefits, Compensation, Employee relations, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Time and Scheduling
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive organizational change
  • Experience monitoring and auditing HR processes for compliance with federal, state, local laws, and collective bargaining agreements
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated data analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as ability to produce results independently
  • Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; report-writer experience required
  • Experience with HR Analytic tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve work flows and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
